Decay is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world; it starts on the surface of the tooth and proceeds deeper; when the process is very advanced, the primary symptom appears, represented by pain (pulpitis).

Treatment for Decay
The treatment for decay is not painful; in our studio, before carrying out the customary local anaesthesia, we apply an anaesthetic cream to eliminate sensitivity in the particular area. When appropriate, we administer conscious sedation through nitrous oxide, or intravenous sedation, both particularly recommended for phobic patients or for intensive sessions in which many teeth are treated.
In selected cases we plan sessions in which we are assisted by our specialist in anaesthesia and resuscitation.
