Founder & Clinical Director
Physician & Surgeon · Specialist in Oral Medicine
Qualified as a dental technician in 1971, he graduated in medicine and surgery and specialised in oral medicine and dental prosthetics, practising in Rome since 1979. He has developed original techniques and patents in the field of implant-prosthetic dentistry, currently adopted in international clinical practice. Creator of Morphogenic Tissue Management (MTM). President of ASSO 2026-2027, Past President of AIOP, Director of the Postgraduate Master in Dental Prosthetics at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome.
His dental technician training translates into direct control over the quality of the final result, from digital design to prosthetic completion in the practice’s in-house laboratory.

Dr. Caterina Calesini, a dentist by training and managing partner of Studio Calesini srl, ensures consistency between the practice’s clinical protocols and their day-to-day application. She oversees the processes that make clinical quality measurable and repeatable: selection of technical collaborators, supervision of workflows, management of the people who carry them out. Since 1979.
Multidisciplinarity
Studio Calesini operates with an advanced multidisciplinary model. Specialists in prosthodontics, periodontology, endodontics, orthodontics, restorative dentistry, surgery, aesthetics and oral hygiene interact daily both in the diagnostic and prognostic analysis phase and in the planning and delivery of each patient’s individualised treatment plan. Each with a defined role in the development of the patient’s overall therapeutic plan, coordinated under a single clinical direction.
Selection and continuous training
A high clinical standard is such only if the people applying it are equal to it. The Studio’s specialist collaborators are selected on verified competence and supported through continuous training; this is what allows the protocols developed in-house to be applied with precision by every member of the team. Keeping the team up to date is part of everyday work, not an occasional matter.

Dr. Caterina Calesini ensures that these standards are applied consistently and kept constantly up to date.
